SOC Analyst

Infosys is inviting applications for a cybersecurity opportunity under its Managed Security Services (MSS), Threat Detection and Response (TDR), Security Operations Centre (SOC), and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) teams.

This role is suitable for candidates with 1–2 years of experience in cybersecurity, security monitoring, incident management, and SIEM technologies.

Key Responsibilites & Skills

• Understanding of cyberattacks, attack techniques, and the Cyber Kill Chain.
• Knowledge of security incident management and response practices.
• Understanding of multi-tier applications, network devices, and security protocols.
• Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems.
• Ability to prepare technical reports and documentation.
• Awareness of cybercriminal techniques, compliance requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Technical Skills

Security Operations Centre (SOC): Security Operations Centre (SOC/SIEM), Security monitoring

Security Information and Event Management (SIEM): IBM QRadar, ArcSight, RSA enVision, LogRhythm, Splunk

Identity and Access Management (IDAM): CA SiteMinder / CA Identity Suite, IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM)

Network and Infrastructure Security: Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP), Malware analysis, Check Point firewalls, Juniper firewalls, Palo Alto firewalls, Web Application Firewall (WAF)

Other Security Technologies: Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Cloud security, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ServiceNow Security

Eligibility

• Must have 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
• Should hold one of the following educational qualifications:
• Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
• Bachelor of Science (BSc)
• Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)
• Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.)
• Integrated BCA + MCA
• Should have knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and security monitoring.
• Experience with SOC or SIEM tools is preferred.
