About the internship
INVIDI Technologies Corporation is inviting applications for the Test Engineer Intern position at its Chennai office. This opportunity is suitable for students and graduates with a background in Computer Science or a related STEM field who are interested in software testing, quality assurance, and automation.
Selected candidates will work with experienced developers in an Agile team and gain hands-on experience in testing software, identifying bugs, writing automated test scripts, and supporting product development.
Roles & Responsibilites
- Design, execute, and document manual and automated test cases.
- Identify software defects, report bugs, and help diagnose their root causes.
- Work with developers to verify bug fixes.
- Write unit tests and maintain automated testing scripts.
- Investigate testing environment issues.
- Support quality assurance activities for software releases.
- Collaborate with developers and team members in an Agile Scrum environment.
Eligibility Criteria
- Currently pursuing or have completed a B.Tech/B.E. degree in Computer Science or an equivalent STEM field.
- Strong programming fundamentals in Java or Python.
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Basic knowledge of web technologies and front-end frameworks such as JavaScript or React.
- Basic exposure to or interest in cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Working knowledge of SQL for database queries and data verification.
- Interest in software testing, quality assurance, and modern technology.
