Frontend Engineer Intern

About The Internship

As a Frontend Engineer Intern, you will work with the engineering team to build and improve the user interface of Certa’s platform.

You will get hands-on experience developing React components, connecting frontend applications with backend APIs, and improving website performance. You will also work with designers and engineers to turn designs into working features.

This internship is suitable for candidates who already have a good understanding of frontend development and have built projects beyond basic tutorials.

What Will You Do?

• Build and improve user interfaces using React.
• Convert Figma designs into functional, production-ready code.
• Develop reusable UI components.
• Connect frontend applications with backend APIs.
• Improve website performance and user experience.
• Work with engineers to develop and release new features.
• Test your code and fix bugs.
• Make sure applications work properly across different screen sizes and devices.

Who Can Apply

• Good knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript.
• A clear understanding of React, including hooks, state management and component lifecycle.
• Experience building and completing real-world projects.
• Knowledge of API integration and handling loading and error states.
• Understanding of form validation and multi-page routing.
• Familiarity with debugging tools and browser developer tools.
• Basic knowledge of responsive design, accessibility and frontend performance.

Experience with AI-powered coding tools such as GitHub Copilot and v0 is also expected. Candidates should be able to review and improve the code generated by these tools.
