G P Birla Foundation Scholarship

The G P Birla Educational Foundation Scholarship supports talented students from West Bengal and Jharkhand who have performed well in Class 12 but need financial assistance to continue their higher education. The scholarship helps students pursue undergraduate courses at recognized colleges and universities across India.

Eligible Courses

Students pursuing any of the following undergraduate courses can apply

• Science
• Commerce
• Arts
• Engineering
• Medicine
• Architecture
• Law
• Chartered Accountancy (CA)
• Company Secretary (CS)
• Cost Accountancy (CMA)

Benefits

• Financial assistance of up to ₹60,000 per year towards tuition and hostel fees.
• One-time book grant of ₹7,000 in the first year.
• Scholarship can be renewed every year based on academic performance.
• Support is available for up to 4 years or until the undergraduate course is completed.

Eligibility

• Be a permanent resident of West Bengal or Jharkhand.
• Have passed Class 12 in 2026.
• Have scored 85% or above in WBCHSE or JAC, 90% or above in CBSE or ISC.
• Have an annual family income of ₹8,00,000 or less.
• Be admitted to an undergraduate course at a recognized college or university in India.

Selection Process

Applications are reviewed based on academic performance and financial need. Shortlisted candidates are selected by a committee of experienced academicians and education experts.

Scholarship Renewal

The scholarship is renewed every year based on satisfactory academic performance. Students in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year may be invited for a review or interaction before renewal.
